The most recent of the tourist areas on the Caorle coastline, Duna Verde is a famous seaside destination that grew up between the ’60s and ’70s.
Its town planning recalls the garden cities of the mid-19th century, due to the rich, verdant vegetation that surrounds the holiday homes. This is a natural setting in which the morphology and flora of the coastline, with dunes and pine forests, is perfectly preserved, thanks to the Regional Forestry Commission.
Between the ‘60s-‘70s, holidays villages and residences were created, respecting this town planning criteria andimmersed in greenery with swimming pools and tennis courts, as well as an infrastructure network that has made Duna Verde an independent town in terms of service and connections, businesses and entertainment.
The wide beaches of Duna Verde, on one of the most picturesque stretches of the Adriatic Coastline, are equipped with all comforts and with high-quality, modern services. These complete the attractions of this lovely area, where elegant holiday villages and residences with swimming pools and tennis courts have been built in perfect harmony with the environment. These structures offer accommodation for thousands of tourists during Summer. There area also plenty of shops in the centre and countless opportunities for fun, with a 30-stall market held between mid-May and mid-September every Wednesday morning in Piazzale Madonneta.
During the Summer Duna Verde is connected to Porto Santa Margherita and Caorle by a local bus service.
